The Royal Albert Hall is emblematic of civic culture.
The Royal Albert Hall is emblematic of civic culture. A gathering place for spirits, minds and bodies, it hosts a wide range of cultural and social events, having served as backdrop for important historical events as well, and even a tennis match. It's yearly highlight is the BBC Proms, which showcase the best and the new of symphonic music.

Please note - because it isn't made obvious on their booking site - that children under 14 are not allowed to sit individually. I had been issued with one 'separate' ticket for a Prom - bought directly on their site - but we were swiftly re-seated together, when they realised the problem and were very apologetic. Relaxed performances are an excellent way to introduce youngsters to a wide range of music, and to allow for them to get enthusiastic.

This theater I guess was a great place back then when it was built, they theater is not well maintained, I have attended 4 Cirque de Soliel shows and 3 Christmas shows and I can’t get more disappointed with every visit, the pungent smell in the hallways is horrible, as you pass by the toilets the urine smell can be strongly detected, another main issue is the low quality metallic seats in the theater itself with every body move you can hear the cranky rusty sound of these chairs. This place can definitely benefit from major renovation works, I am confident it will be a stunning theater.

An amazing place to visit.
An amazing place to visit. We saw a classical spectacular, an amazing experience. Get a box for 8 people and fill it with friends and family so you have a bit more space and freedom to enjoy your musical experience and share the cost between 8.

Ideal situation for Royal Albert Hall and Kensington museums. Room was very comfortable and good size. Corridor was quiet and no disturbance. Liked having a fridge and safe in the room. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel was booked because it was within walking distance to the Royal Albert Hall and also very close to the underground for visiting other areas of London. Without exception all staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our breakfast which was fresh, plentiful and nicely cooked. We would defiantly stay at this hotel again.
The location was superb, just across the road from south kensington tube and a short walk to all the museums. We were attending a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and could walk to it from the apartment. Yet a lovely quiet area with lovely cafes and shops near by.
Easy to get into city aswell to see other sites.
The host was flexible as our arrival time changed and we were happy with the communication.
A great place to stay.
Super clean, friendly staff, great location. Close to Royal Albert Hall where we went for a concert. Also 15 min walk to Kensington Palace. Gloucester rd tube across the road…3 stops from Victoria. The staff were among the friendliest iv ever encountered. Little bar very cute.
The location is excellent for the Royal Albert Hall. The decor is pleasant. The staff were lovely. Room was well equipped with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and everything else you’d expect.
Good location, and despite being on a busy road was very quiet, and nice walking distance to the Royal Albert Hall where we attending an event. The room was adequate for a one night stay with everything we needed.
We used the adjoining restaurant for a late lunch and it was superb, nothing to fault at all.
Great location only 5 mins walk from S. Kensington tube and ideally located for museums and the Royal Albert Hall.
Whilst facilities in hotel were limited we were able to use the bar and breakfast at the Exhibitionist Hotel directly across the road.
