Waking to the old town was also fairly easy with just a 7 minute walk that brought us to the town centre where one can find a good number of shops and restaurants, plus also historical buildings and monuments.

There are two main castles: Bratislava Castle which was under renovation during my visit, but it is over a hill allowing you to have a perfect view of the city and the Danube
There are two main castles: Bratislava Castle which was under renovation during my visit, but it is over a hill allowing you to have a perfect view of the city and the Danube. The other is Devin Castle 10 Km North Bratislava and is accessible via bus or boat but I advise a boat to enjoy the beauty of the Danube.
