El Cortijo Hotel is a colonial house transformed into a boutique hotel, in the village of Cachi, Salta. It offers pleasant rooms with traditional Argentinean décor and a gourmet restaurant. An amazing place. Absolutely beautiful. An oasis in the midst of the desert. We had a twin room which was a bit small. Couple rooms looked bigger. The beds were comfortable, great shower, the breakfast was wonderful. We ate dinner there, too. It was really wonderful. The art in the hotel was gorgeous, great little shop.

An outdoor swimming pool can be enjoyed in an elegant colonial-style mansion, 1 block away from the Wine Museum. All rooms have private balconies with garden views. Wi-Fi and private parking are free.... Great staff! It's a family-run hotel and the two brothers that run it are very, very accommodating and helpful. We had a WIFI problem at first and one of the brothers came down and replaced the router. Breakfast was great. One of the brothers is the pastry chef and he makes great pastries! They were very helpful about giving us local information. It's not the most modern hotel, but rather has the feel of an old Spanish hacienda. We loved it. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again given the opportunity. It's a few blocks away from the noisy downtown area around the square, but easy walking distance in the daytime. They have good, covered parking if you have your own car, as we did. Great value for the price as well.

Viñas de Cafayate. Wine Resort is surrounded by vineyards and offers authenticity with it´s colonial style architecture and design. Such a great hotel in Cafayate! There was a view of the beautiful pool and vineyards from the terrace, and from the front door a view of a pasture with horses. The room was comfortable and they provided wall plug-ins to repel mosquitoes (since you’re staying outside the city in a vineyard, mosquitoes are inevitable). Great breakfast and overall fantastic stay.

Patios De Cafayate offers rooms in a former colonial house, with views across the Calchaquí Valley vineyards. There is an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. I think this is the best hotel we have stayed in recently. Aesthetics, style, tranquility! Very beautiful! There is a delicious restaurant on site, and we also took advantage of the massage salon! For children there is a children's room and a playground! But most importantly, there is a stable on the territory and you can ride horses among the vineyards! We are delighted! We will definitely come back again!
