Charming hostess. Little hiccup with air conditioning at the beginning but host made it right. Roman ruins nearby very interesting. Recommend.

Gasthof zum Goldenen Anker occupies a 400-years old historic building next to the Danube River and the medieval city wall and a 3-minute walk from the Old Town of Hainburg. Charming hotel with so much character and really beautiful bedroom, with gorgeous antique furniture. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and check we had everything we needed.

Just 9 km from Vienna Airport and Vienna’s city centre, this family-run hotel is located in the centre of Schwechat. It offers free limited parking and free WiFi access. Although I arrived late, the personnel had left me the key in a very convenient way. The personnel itself was really nice and helpful and served perfect coffee and nice breakfast. The hotel and the room are quite good for someone who needs to spend a night between flights!
