Located at the foot of a forest, Hotel Kartause offers exclusive accommodation in a 14th-century monastery, halfway between Salzburg and Vienna. It features a brewery and a restaurant. Friendly attentive staff. Ultra clean rooms. The charming quaint environment. Great breakfast buffet. lunch and dinner food was tasty. Walkable to a nearby store and other shops as well as eateries.

Located in Lackenhof, Sporthotel am Ötscher features various facilities, such as ski-to-door access, a shared lounge and a bar. Location of the hotel is beutiful. Apartment has everything we needed.

Located next to the church in Lackenhof's centre, the Kirchenwirt is only 400 metres away from the Ötscher Ski Area and offers regional cuisine. We visited Vienna for 2 days & came here for 2 days to Ski. Peter the Manager helped us so much with information about the Skiing and helped us book passes. The hotel & food is basic but well worth the money paid. The little town is just picture perfect with the little church & colourful houses . We loved it here & would definitely go back.

We were nicely surprised by breakfast which was in basic buffet style instead of continental which was mentioned when we booked accommodation. For our dog they also gave us a bowl. I was little bit worried about cleaning according to some rewies but everything was clean!

I had a room with a balcony. I have to say that the view is very beautiful and the sound of the river just under the balcony is simply a dream.

We spent the end of the year here on a skiing holiday. The apartment was very nice and new and had absolutely everything. We didn't miss anything in the kitchen so there was no problem with making a food. Wifi was absolutely OK, TV with many channels. Large fridge, Nespresso capsule coffee machine (about 6 capsules were available), dishwasher with tablets. Everything was clean and prepared for us, there was no problem with opening the safe with the keys. The ski room with boot warmer is also included, amazing. Really close to the nearest ski resort, but due to snow conditions we went to another one (Hochkar, 30 minutes). Although the accommodation is right next by the road, there was no problem with noise due to the location of the village. I actually can't tell you one thing that would disappointed me.
