Located in Beechmont, 40 km from Metricon Stadium and 43 km from Wet'n'Wild Water World, La Dolce Vita provides spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. It was a peaceful natural setting amongst other acreage properties. James and Ingrid were great hosts, and the suite had everything I could need. It was stocked with plenty of food including bacon and fresh baked bread. The birds and kangaroos were right out the door and day trips to Lamington were within reach.

Cedarview Bed & Breakfast is set in Beechmont, within 45 km of Metricon Stadium and 49 km of Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk. This accommodation was brilliant. I was birdwatching through Queensland with my wife and our stay at this accommodation was perfect. The owner has birdfeeders that bring in a number of species of parrot and also Brown Quail which can be watched from the comfort of the accommodation. The self-contained accommodation adjoining the owners home had everything we needed. The combined bedroom/living space has a table and chairs and sofa. The accommodation also has a good bathroom and kitchen area. The breakfast provisions were excellent and the owners wife baked us a loaf of bread that was as good as you get. The accommodation is on top of a hill and the views across the owners land are stunning.

Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella is a tranquil rainforest retreat located at the edge of Springbrook National park. Amazing location; yurt was cosy and very comfortable. Such a great space to relax and unwind. The property is right next to the national park and waterfall; so special to have nature on the doorstep! Meals provided by Ebony were tasty and generous.

Set on 14 acres alongside the UNESCO World Heritage listed Springbrook Plateau, Springbrook Mountain Chalets offers accommodation with a patio and a hot tub or spa bath. If I could put 20/10 I would, it was honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The place was spotless, super romantic, very private, in the middle of nature, and the owners are very helpful. Would definitely come back.

Boasting a double spa bath, a fireplace and BBQ facilities, Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat offers secluded cottages surrounded by rainforests. Lovely location, especially for wildlife watching and birding. It was very easy to get to all the trails in the park from here as well!

The Mouses House offers a choice of 12 chalets nestled within peaceful rainforest, only 30 minutes’ drive from the Gold Coast. The house was full of positive energy... we were left speechless

Boasting garden views, Bluebell Cottage features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 40 km from Metricon Stadium. Great little hideaway spot with easy access to hiking trails.
