The cleanliness of the room was excellent as was the friendliness of the staff in all areas. The pool and grounds are pristine. The service and food at the restaurant was the best of all the different restaurants I tried in town.

The staff are most obliging and nothing is unaccounted for. Dinner was superb as well as the Coffee hatch in the morning. Everything about Ilfracombe exceeds expectations!

I was very impressed with the facilities. When I walked into the main area which was the dining room it was like going back in time, the dining area is set up with white linen table clothes and lovely burgundy velvet chairs, it was quite spacious and allowed us to mingle with other guests who were eating and or staying there as well. The meals were freshly prepared and each portion was large, my husband had the pork cutlet which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had the spaghetti with a mushroom, caramelised onion and cream sauce which was so tasty and the presentation and taste we amazing. We also stayed for breakfast and were asked what we wanted and the meals came out exactly as we had asked for them. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A STAY HERE IT WAS VERY INVITING, THE R STAFF AND OWNERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND THE ROOMS WERE SPACIOUS WITH COMFORTABLE BEDS AND ALSO CAME WITH A LARGE ENSUITE.

Bob and his wife are lovely and plan on doing great things to the motel. Our room was clean and comfortable and the pool was nice and cold. We had spaghetti bolognese and the vegetarian pizza at the restaurant and it was delicious. We would definitely stay again.
