Boasting an outdoor saltwater pool, free on-site parking and BBQ facilities, Port Douglas Motel is just 3 minutes' walk from Four Mile Beach. Good sized room with a comfortable bed and nicely decorated. Close to the beach and the centre of Port Douglas. Bernie on reception was extremely helpful and kept us updated on temporary road closures caused by flash flooding from a cyclone. Outdoors there is a large very well equipped outdoor kitchen and a nice pool for cooling off and chilling out under an amazing enormous oceanic mural.

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. they have absolutely everything that you would ever need to enjoy the beach, pool, town right in their reception area.... An unbelievable assortment of useful items from beach chairs to inflatable water toy to board games and dvd's to a telescope... over the top awesomeness:)

Ocean Palms is within walking distance to beach and many restaurants! The apartments are modern and well equipped. We were only going to stay for 5 days, but liked it so much we added another 8 days. Bec was a pleasure to deal with, always available for questions or any small problems were solved quickly. We can highly recommend Ocean Palms! Thanks Bec for everything❣️

Mossman Gorge B&B is a traditional bed and breakfast in a rainforest setting. Mandy and Chris were wonderful hosts, even making sure I had a takeaway breakfast if I was getting an early start to the day and offering lots of travel tips. Breakfast in the mornings included a lot of homemade jams and jellies that were delightful. I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

Outrigger Apartments Port Douglas offers a heated saltwater swimming pool, a tropical garden and free Wi-Fi. Great location, easy walk to restaurants, beach, great barrier reef tour companies. Hosts booked and manged our transports to Cairns. Pool was refreshing in the heat.

Featuring an outdoor heated pool and BBQ area with outdoor seating and tropical gardens, this hidden gem of a motel is just a 12-minute walk from Four Mile Beach. Above all, the staff were incredible and went above and beyond to help us. We had a bit of a nightmare with our trip due to the floods and arrived at our room just 3.5hrs before we were due to check out! Aidan was so kind and helpful in the morning when we saw him, didn’t rush us to get sorted, and gave us loads of advice for our whole trip. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Location is good too. Sadly we didn’t get time to use any other facilities but everything looked lovely.
