I was happy they had not only gluten free bread available but also several gf cereals. The breakfast room looks out on a beautiful view of the water.

She also provided informative information on the platypus who live in the local creek. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait for Mr Platypus, so I bought a post card of a platypus photo! Well done to the owner of Bears Went over the Mountain! We were in room 2 on 26.11.22.

Management of this motel are always warm, welcoming and always meet you with a smile. It is like home away from home. They will try their best to accommodate all of your needs. Fantastic place, love it.
The host communicated exceptionally well - she was very responsive and even checked to make sure I had not lost my way given I arrived later than expected. Her partner and her welcomed me despite my late arrival and the next day provided me with information on where to brunch etc. The lodging itself was very clean and comfortable with the kitchen well stocked for a snack and breakfast the next morning.
The cottage was in a great location for a family gathering in a nearby town.
I could not possibly have asked for a more generous host. By the time I left, Irene was like family. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm, and the dogs were adorable!
staff was super friendly and I asked if I could get a special patter made up for my husband birthday and wow what a platter Breakfast was outstanding and George the orphan lamb was super cute If ever in Dover again will definitely be staying here again

Absolutely beautiful place, so quirky but modern. Everything you could need was provided including a welcome pack with fresh eggs, butter. Milk and condiments. The fire warmed the whole place up so it was nice and cosy. Will definitely come back.
