Very nice suite on the top floor. All very clean and has been modernised recently. Really the best you can expect from a small hotel. Breakfast was of good quality and cheap. Dinner was really good! We will come back to further visit the region!

The room I had was in the white stable building and immaculately rennovated, one of the very best rooms I have ever stayed in. The manager was very attentive and helpful, breakfast was wonderful, they even have welcome free drinks (I had an exellent local beer) a very enjoyable stay. I will come back again for sure.

Le Chant du Merle is located in Neufchâteau, in the Belgium Luxembourg region. The owners serve a delicious breakfast with several quality products produced by local farmers: meat, eggs, cheese,... The breakfast is served on a glazed terrace at a height where you have a magnificent view of the hills and can spot births (I was lucky to have seen the common blackbird (from which the name of the house 'Le chant du Merle' is derived) and swallows (which I have not seen soo many since my youth). If I would not have a further commitment, I would have spent my whole morning sitting at that nice location and watching nature from there or reading a book. Ideal location for hiking and cycling. The bedroom is very quiet and I have not slept better this year. I would definitely go back another time.
