Located in Otis in the New Brunswick region, Big Axe Bed & Breakfast features a garden. This bed and breakfast provides air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. We needed a place to stay for the night on our way from Halifax to Montreal, we booked with the Axe b&b last minute and I’m so glad we did. This place is so nice, the room had a great size with a good bed, sofa and diner table with view to the Saint John River, as well a spa/bath. Inside the room there were a mini fridge and a coffee maker, right outside of the room on the same floor there was a microwave which was helpful as we bought our dinner at the grocery nearby and could use the microwave to warm it up. Glasses, cutlery and plates were also provided. The breakfast is delicious and there are some options to choose from. There is also a deck near the river that is only used by the b&b guests, as well a fire pit. The owners are really nice people. We couldn’t ask for more.

Don't make my mistake of staying only one night, book yourself at least a few days. This property has everything that you need for a long, calm vacation to unite with nature. Very well located with stunning waterfront. The owners are friendly, the home is beautifully decorated.
