Located on Galiano Island, the hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Vancouver Ferry Terminals. The view from the room was stunning, especially the sunrise! Wow!!! Although we only had a queen room, it was more spacious than I expected. The washroom was also a great size and included a tub which I prefer over a shower at the end of a day of exploring trails and beaches. We enjoyed our tasty dinner at the restaurant on site and the service was very good!

Located on the North end of Salt Spring, Magnolia Petal offers optional breakfast in the morning, which guests can enjoy in their suite. Guests can enjoy private patio and garden during their stay. Loved everything about this place! The breakfast baskets were delicious, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the feeling of being tucked away in the forest was perfect for a week away from the city.

Offering garden views, Five Elements Lodge B&B with Outdoor Spa in Fernwood offers accommodation, a spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre, an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge. Michael was a lovely host, we arrived late at night and he had the sauna and steam room all heated up for us. The place is very quiet and serene!

They were extremely accommodating and helped us in a pinch (when we were running late to a wedding).

Set in Ganges in the Salt Spring Island region, Thistle Dew Cottage has a balcony. This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The Cottage was fantastic, just what I needed for my solo visit to Salt Spring Island. Well equipped with essential food and snacks and washing equipment, which was very handy for me as I biked from Victoria and packed light. The bed was so comfy and the cottage has a real charm to it, the photos don't do it justice! Location is great for Ganges and there are some nice trails nearby. The Salt Spring Wild Cider house is on the doorstep and a visit here is a must. The food and cider are amazing. The owner Pauline is one of the loveliest people I have ever met, a true Canadian gem! Her life story is amazing, she is a mine of information and she goes well out of her way for people. I really hope to be back some day soon!
