One of Vancouver Island’s most comfortable and welcoming stay experiences, the Old House Hotel has it all: location; spacious, individually designed suites; inviting amenities such as kitchenettes and... It was our first time staying at this property - the staff were lovely. There was a bit of confusion at check-in as our friends arrived earlier than we did and as we made the booking they were unable to check-in without us initially. The front desk staff were able to speak with me over the phone and following their protocols, were able to check-in our friends by using their CC as the card on file. Also, we were given a complimentary upgrade from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated.

The room was newly renovated and everything was brand new and the shower was incredible. I could have stayed in that shower all day :)

Offering mountain bike storage and an on-site bike shop, this restored heritage hostel is located in Cumberland, on Vancouver Island. It is 35 km from the biking trails at Mount Washington. loved the expansive dining room. lots of different kitchen toys (stovetop espresso maker:)). pool table and old school video games were a hit with my 3-year old.
