WOW WOW WOW Fantastic host - Ferdinand - extremely welcoming, chatty and great sense of humour. Beautiful boutique hotel, complimentary water, amazing breakfast, including freshly boiled eggs. Decoration throughout the hotel was exquisite. Great staff - helpful, polite and friendly. We were on a 16 day trip, visiting France, Italy and Switzerland. This hotel was by far the most outstanding, due to the decor, facilities, breakfast and the staff, lead by the fantastic Ferdinand! We will be back for sure!

Het elegante Hotel Stadthaus ligt midden in de historische binnenstad van Burgdorf, op slechts 300 meter afstand van het paleis van Burgdorf en de kerk. It’s a beautiful house in the middle of the old part of town. The rooms are spacious, the beds big and comfy, the bathroom modern and large. Staff was very friendly, breakfast great.

Bio Garni Möschberg ligt op een schilderachtige locatie, op slechts 20 minuten rijden van Bern, aan de ingang van het Emmen-dal. Vriendelijke mensen en een prachtige locatie.

Het hotel Berchtold met een eigen parkeergarage is zeer centraal gelegen in het winkelgebied, op slechts 1 minuut van het station. The room was big, bright, very clean I could walk without slippers even in bathroom. I also left my baby playing on the floor. It was very pleasant and exceptional clean ! We had acccess to balcony so could eat dinner with nice view of sunset. Bathroom was bright, shiny, big, very clean. I loved it ! Breakfast was full of choices, just missing fresh vegetables, and it was a bit confusing- the stuff asked for room number while serving coffee and we didn't know if it will be extra paid or not, and if we could get only one cup or more.. However everything was perfect and excellent! I will recommend and come back again !

Hotel Hirschen ligt op een rustige locatie in het dorp Eggiwil in de Emmen-vallei, op 40 minuten rijden van Bern. Het hotel beschikt over een groot terras en een midgetgolfbaan. Best location best price and very friendly staff especially the chief of property Mr. Alexander.

Hotel Appenberg ligt op 2 km van het dorp Zäziwil in de Emmen-vallei en biedt rustiek ingerichte kamers in 12 historische gebouwen. De accommodatie heeft een eigen restaurant. The location was lovely and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding with an amazing selection of local cheeses and meats. We had stunning view from our balcony. For staying in Switzerland, I thought the prices were right.

Boutique Hotel Moosegg ligt in de schilderachtige heuvels van het Emmental, op slechts 40 minuten rijden van Bern en Thun. Excellent staff location and food

Landgasthof Lueg ligt in Kaltacker, midden in de schilderachtige Emmen-vallei. Het biedt een restaurant, individueel ingerichte themakamers en gratis WiFi.De spa is toegankelijk tegen een toeslag. A wellness trip that should bring relaxation and a bit of activity was what I was looking for and it was exactly what was offered at the Lueg. The german couple that manage the hotel are were so nice in accomodating me. So many little things. For example they noticed that it was my birthday and lit a small candle on a small cake for me; so cute! Then they fired up the wellness area although I was the only one using it. But I was so greatful. It gave me exactly the relaxation I needed after a hike which was also aided by some recommendations by the host. Then the two dinners and the perfect service by the bavarian waiter on the first night. As there was a seminar going on at the hotel at the time, there was a small conflict in intressest in the smokers lounge. The waiter managed this situation like a boss. He quickly took the initative when he realized my wish to have a smoke after dinner and asked the people from the seminar what their plans were. Then he organized the two rooms for each of us and everybody was happy. That's what I call perfect service. This guy should get a raise :) The hotel is off the beaten track, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Still it is reachable by public transport directly from Burgdorf.
