I loved the warmth and friendly hospitality of the staff member (Victor) that welcomed me to the hotel and helped me with all aspects of my stay. I noticed that he was equally helpful and friendly and attentive to all other guests as well. My room was very spacious and well appointed with views to the front of the hotel and a Matterhorn glimpse when the weather fined up. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with many choices.The hotel was also only a short walk from the station. It was a really enjoyable stay. I will definitely be back.

The amazing view of the Matterhorn outside our extra large balcony. Hotel facility was also great! The swimming pool was super clean, gym though small was enough for a day or 2 to catch up on workout. The steam and sauna were also super clean and efficient. The rooms were decent size and beds comfortable. The armoire was helpful to store luggage and get a little organized. Breakfast was also lovely. The staff were amazing! I love this place and highly recommend to anyone coming to Zermatt and wanting a perfect experience!

Outstanding view of the Matterhorn, terrific spa which was very enjoyable after a day of skiing, with a glass of wine/sparkles, breakfast was very impressive, tasty and lovely room. Brilliant customer service by the staff/ owners. We called through to reception on our arrival by train to Zermatt and they arranged an electric taxi to pick us up to bring us to 'Hotel Ambiance' as we had a heavy suitcase each and too far to walk with - cheaper than if we organised ourselves.

We loved, that the apartments were serviced and had housekeeping, which we didn't expect based on previous experiences in other apartments. The view was absolutely amazing, and very enjoyable on the balcony. I've been to many apartments in Zermatt, and this one had a completely unobstructed view of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountains. We didn't go to the Restaurant in the Hotel but it looked super cozy and we have heard great things about it, maybe next time.

this hotel is located in a very unique location, with an amazing matterhorn view... the decoration of the rooms and the restaurants are very nice and mountain style chic. They are mostly concentrated on the 4 restaurants and the bar, with its F&B and the service..., upscale level..., but dont expect the same for the Hotel...., the concierge Mr.Marvin is perfect, he tries his best, even opens the ski room and helps to fix your boots, during 11am and 15 pm

Room was very nice and convenient. Central Zermatt and only 5min walk to the train station. Staff at front desk and restaurant were both very friendly and helpful! Balcony view was great (not on the Matterhorn side) and the facilities were amazing. Everything very modern and clean and I really like the wood look throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast, our bathroom had a skylight and the bed was very comfortable. All around a great stay.

The apartment with view on the Matterhorn was really great, super confortable and well equipped. Wellness & SPA area was great and super relaxing, and the pool is ok to swim a bit. Breakfast was amazing. The team was really helpful to organise our stay all along, the taxi from and to the station, the water before our departure, explaining the main things to see around Zermatt.

No, coz I've loved EVERYTHNIG and ANYTHING, I love Zermatt and Matterhorn Lodge Hotel, its staff and food in a morning and so on and so on, Please consider my rating 100 out of 100 points per item. This hotel deserve the TOP RATING as the staff as well as their support and assistance is just OUT OF THE MOON, totally PRO and superior place like this deserve a AWARD!!!

Heaven on Earth!! Perfect location, in the heart of the town and 5min walk to the ski lift. Friendly staff, smooth check-in, clean rooms and amazing facilities. We especially loved the breakfast buffet where you can make your own waffels and pancakes while enjoying the view of the Matterhorn. Will definitely be back. Higly recommend Hotel Bristol!!

The flat is very nice with balcony that has a view of Matterhorn. The decor is tasteful and nostalgic with a full cassette collection. Very professional, clear, and prompt communication from the management company - no issues at check-in and check-out. Some of our friends based in Switzerland were able to pre-store our skis, which is helpful.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Hotel Excelsior in December 2023. The location is convenient, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Comfortable spacious room with all the amenities needed, helpful staff and great breakfast made our stay memorable. Not to mention the fascinating view of Matterhorn from the balcony.

Hotel with several buildings and spa within walking distance from train station (5 mins, both SBB and Gornergrat). We received free upgrade of the room with balcony and Matterhorn view. Very nice spa with approx. 15m pool, whirlpool, saunas..., we were almost alone there (20:00-21:30). Good breakfast and helpful staff.

I cant fault this place one bit, beautiful views of the matterhorn, staff super friendly, luckily in a room with fellow travellers who we got on very well made some good friends, great place to stay, the meal option is really good aswell and cheap for switzerland! Definitely stay again, counting my days back!

Staffs were awesome and very helpful. Hotel location is just 5 mins walking distance from Zermatt station also from Zermatt GGB station. It's just 15 mins walking distance from gondola ride station. Matterhorn peak is just infront of you if u r in view room. Overall it's very very satisfying stay.

Everything about Hotel Capricorn was amazing - the family owned feel, the staff (especially Valerie and Barbara) who made sure we had nothing but the best during our stay. The hot tub and views of the Matterhorn are remarkable, the wellness center was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious.

Camilla was very friendly in her communication, The apartment was tasty refurbished it has everything you would need it is in a great location with views of the Matterhorn. The sound of the river gushing by was very soothing. Its a little Gem , Would definitely recommend it,

Very comfortable apartment with beautiful wooden furniture. Perfect set up able to accommodate two families. Apartment located in beautiful place with stunning view. Very close to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise lift or nice walk to the center. I fully recommend

- Functional apartment with most of the essentials - Near to Kirchplatz / Kirchbrücke, which are best spots to watch sunrise / sunset colours over the Matterhorn - We spotted deers and squirrels from the balcony, which was a pleasant surprise

The best thing about Hotel Alpenroyal is first and foremost, the location. Its high location in Zermatt provides a good view of the matterhorn mountain. The room is clean, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is enough to satisfy your morning rush.

Very short decline walk to check in and then another 5 minute walk to apartment. Unless you are not physically able there is no reason to pay for the shuttle. view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was brilliant when the clouds cooperated.
