Situated in Novel, 56 km from Lausanne, Les Chemins du Léman boasts a restaurant and free WiFi. I stayed in a dorm bed. It is right on the GR5. Place was clean with a couple of outdoor spaces for guests. Showers were good, new/clean/modern. Overall a good value, especially for hiking the GR5.

Opened in 1896 and renovated in 2015, Hôtel National Resort & Spa is located in the heart of the mountain village of Champéry in the Valais Alps. Most comfortable bed ever! I appreciated the welcome drink at the bar and the delicious included breakfast. Central location, free parking behind the hotel and great views. Friendly and helpful staff.

Boutique Hotel Beau-Séjour & Spa Superior is located about 400 metres from the cable car in Champery amid the Portes du Soleil ski region. Free Wi-Fi is available. Excellent quality breakfast. Fresh and flavorful food. Excellent coffee. A bit later than expected (0830) but it made us slow down a bit which was great.

Offering a panoramic view of the Dents du Midi mountain range, Hôtel Le White - Le 42 Restaurant is located at the entrance of the village of Champéry, in the heart of the vast ski area of Portes du... The owners Mr. Thomas and his wife was so kind and polite, we booked for one room with twin beds, but they gave us an upgrade with two rooms with balcony, the hotel is so nice and clean the view of the balcony was amazing, the breakfast was great, we really recommend it, and for my next time visiting chempery for sure i will stay in the same hotel.

Accessible only by cable car during winter, this hotel is in Planachaux, in the Portes du Soleil ski resort at 1,800 metres above sea level. location, delicious food & appreciated chef coming out to explain each course. friendly helpful staff
