We enjoyed a beautiful weekend over here. It's a lil far from the centre but the view of the Matterhorn is gorgeous

Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. The room is large and brightly lit. The bed is comfortable and the facilities are adequate. The breakfast included are great too. The hotel is on the main street but the entrance is a bit difficult to find. I walked pass it the first time without noticing it.

Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the center of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi. This hotel is situated a few minutes away by electric transport from the train station on the other side of the river. Nestled into the hillside, the hotel balconies are adorned with flowers boxes, making for a pretty scene. From the balconies, to the right The Matterhorn is visible. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and efficient in all areas of the hotel. The hotel bar and restaurant have outdoor seating available when the weather is good. We enjoyed the full breakfast included with the room rate. The room we stayed in was a family room with three full bedrooms with doors for privacy - terrific for our needs ( a group of 6). Although the hotel was reasonably busy when we’re there it never felt that way and was quiet at night. The main room was spacious, included a table and there were two bathrooms not connected to a bedroom. The room was clean and well maintained. There isn’t a small fridge or beverage set up in the room. We stayed 2 nights and were able to easily navigate our way to parks, the centre where there is shopping, restaurants and access points to explore all this area of Switzerland has to offer. If the opportunity to stay again comes up, we definitely would.

It offers a lounge with an area for playing and a fireplace.... Spacious clean and new design room located in quiet area. Great bathroom amenities. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Coffee/tea and snack bar corner is provided for all day. If travel with luggages, take taxi might be easier due to a little uphill path to reach the hotel.

I forgot a wallet with documents and credit cards in the room safe and the staff did everything they could to get the wallet to me in a train station that was more than one hour away. Very attentive staff through out our stay too.

The family-run Bristol hotel is located in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. The woman who checked us in could not have been more friendly and helpful. She was simply very wonderful. Regrets I do not remember her name. Each coming and going she was there with a smile. Answered all our questions. 5 stars! The breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed at during our 9 day journey- We stayed at a total of 4 hotels. The food was plentiful, well prepared and lots of options. We did have a very nice view of the Matterhorn, Room 502, I believe. The TV was on when we entered with a welcoming remark and then a video of a crackling fireplace. Perfect. Best of all was the employee at the check desk.
