The room was clean and very cosy. Wonderful view from the window. A quiet and peaceful location. Delicious coffee in the morning and good breakfast. And last but not least - very friendly owner and his staff! Definitely worth recommending!

Fitted with a terrace, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bath or shower.... This was probably the BEST place we have ever stayed on our travels. The location is magical, with views of mountains above and Bellinzona down below. There is a huge fenced yard that our dogs loved running around and tanning. The studio ("Loft") and really large and modern. Internet was super. The hosts we very attentive and caring, even provided beds and bowls for our dogs, which was so appreciated. We were supplied with fire wood to have a fire in the wood stove every night. We spent two weeks at Scarpape and traveled to various places, such as Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia, Monte Generoso, Monte Lema, and many others. It's possible to go on hikes right from the front door. It's all very accessible. We will definitely be back!

This is a wonderful hotel. The views of the castle were fantastic and it's a short walk into town or up to any of the castles. The room was very comfortable, clean, and updated to perfection. Our dinner was also superb!

Kitchen was well equipped and everything was nice and clean. We were pleasantly surprised how big the apartment was. Nicer than we though based on the pictures. The extra bed - pull out couch - was big and comfortable to sleep on. The hostess was very helpful! :) The location was near the train station and in very peaceful neighborhood.
