Nice hotel few steps from the ocean. Frontside cocktailbar with Oceanview. We liked the open way the building was, Galeries with rooms and open air in the middle. A little pool to cool off. Help from local staff at the debarkment to get to hotel and help to book excursions.

Super clean room and very well located just a couple of minutes walk from Tortuguero main square. The staff was suoer friend and the check in process easy and quick.

We took the night to through Tuanis with Bernie and I highly recommend it. We say everything and more. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Serendipity's staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - for example (1) meeting us at the main boat pier on arrival and escorting us, carrying our luggage on a cart, to the hotel, (2) discussing and arranging an excellent birdwatching tour, (3) general housekeeping including fast turnround on laundry. The hotel is very new and pleasant with a central covered courtyard for meals. Location is near the Reserve and the beach but also near a small supermarket and a short walk into the main town.

Green Macaw Hostel is located in Tortuguero. The property is set 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park. At the economy hotel, the rooms include a patio and a shared kitchen. Hostess was so so nice! She made our stay so much better. We knew we booked quite a small room but this was ok, it is quiet at evenings and nights, the shared bathroom was right next door and with a big corredor where all rooms are on we felt like we had a lot more space. There is a shared fridge and kitchen where we cooked meals which was great. Tours can be booked here as well, we did the canoe tour which we def. recommend! It is a perfect chill place to stay while in Tortuguero!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is situated in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. Close to the center of town but just far enough to feel like you're in the middle of the jungle. Nice spacious room, good wifi

Cabinas Balcon del Mar Tortuguero is just 100 metres from hiking and fishing at Tortuguero National Park. Free WiFi access is available. The beach is just steps away. Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.

Surrounded by an extensive garden and located 200 metres from Tortuguero National Park, Hostal y Cabinas Tortuguero features a terrace with hammocks and free Wi-Fi throughout. Wonderful hotel full of character that gives a real sense of being in the jungle. The room had everything needed and it’s very centrally located. the welcome drink and pack was a really kind touch. Lastly, a special mention for the amazing Nehla. She went above and beyond to help me with moving on to my next destination when I had no Visa card (essential!) or cash. Thanks so, so much. I would have been lost without you!!
