Help from local staff at the debarkment to get to hotel and help to book excursions.

The room was just what we needed, good A/C, they picked us up at the main dock, helpful staff(solve everything within minutes), pool was refreshing and very natural.

Located in Tortuguero, 400 metres from Tortuguero Beach, Tuanis Guest House provides air-conditioned rooms and a terrace. Close proximity to everything. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. We took the night to through Tuanis with Bernie and I highly recommend it. We say everything and more. I would definitely stay here again.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, Hotel Sunset Rooms is set in Tortuguero, 100 metres from Tortuguero Beach. Location on the water was great. Owner was very accommodating, warm and friendly. The bar was perfect for watching the sunset. Room was nothing fancy, but clean and comfy with hot shower and fridgette. Located at the quiet end of town with an easy walk to whatever was needed.

Green Macaw Hostel is located in Tortuguero. The property is set 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park. At the economy hotel, the rooms include a patio and a shared kitchen. Everything was fine. Eddil the owner was super friendly and helped a lot when staying there. Wifi worked very well, the shared bathroom was very clean and good hot water. A shared kitchen outside with some coffee and tea also available. During our stay my partner had some stomach problems and Eddil supported us a lot. I am really happy even if we were a bit unlucky during our stay. thanks a lot Eddil! ;)

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is situated in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. The room was just perfect, the staff were very helpful, the little kitchen area was very appreciated and the pool was great. highly recommended.

Cabinas Balcon del Mar Tortuguero is just 100 metres from hiking and fishing at Tortuguero National Park. Free WiFi access is available. The beach is just steps away. Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.

La Casona Eco-Lodge Tortuguero features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Tortuguero. The property is non-smoking and is located a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. Initially I was nervous about booking this location because of where is was on Google maps as it looked to be off the main path. The hotel is right besides the Soccer field, and this turned out to be great. We bought a soccer ball from the local hardware store, and my children ended up playing soccer nightly with the local kids. It was a really great experience for all of us. The hotel is clean, very secure at night, and extremely conveniently located for brining your luggage to and from the dock.
