As you drive up to the hotel, you know you’re somewhere special… it’s set in beautiful surroundings, an enticing pool, lovely little bar/restaurant and gorgeous lounge area. The decor of the place is impeccable and feels luxurious in an approachable way. Our room was beautiful and we loved the fact that there is a kitchen building to make stuff for yourself plus every room has a proper fridge. To top it all off - Ramon is the kindest and friendliest person and made us feel so at home. It’s a perfect location to go into the mountains, many hikes, old villages and the sea. We wish we stayed for longer and hope we can return- it’s a very special hotel.

Absolutely delicious breakfast, the best I've had in any hotel in Europe or the States. Served at your table (instead of buffet, this is a treat in and of itself!!!), very efficient in service and very friendly. The best way of serving scrambled eggs I've ever seen, anywhere! The people working here really aim to make your stay wonderful. Everyone was helpful and eager te please. ery pleasant rooms! We ate at the restaurant twice, this was also very good and not very expensive. The location is beautiful, up the hillside, overlooking the mountain valley. V And only 8-9 kms from the Miami Platja beach!

Set in Botarell, Hostal Sant Roc features air-conditioned accommodations with free Wi-Fi and free public parking. It is situated 10 km from Cambrils Beach and 19 km from Salou on the Costa Dorada. Very friendly staff. they didn’t speak English and I don’t speak Spanish but we got on very well. The room was spotless and came with a microwave and small fridge. I have no idea why it has only 1 star. The simple restaurant next door was pretty good too. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the detour. Much cheaper and nicer than the overnight stop in France.
