Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were delightful, the grounds are immaculate and the decor is beautiful - a 'Rocky Mountain' style lodge hotel in sunny Spain with the picturesque Pyrenees in the background. The food was all delicious, both the evening meal prepared by an excellent chef, and the plentiful breakfast. I have to eat gluten free and was well provided for, not always the case.

Amazing and very beautiful location in a medieval style village Gavin, comfortable apartment, very warm and clean. All necessary utilities in place, everything working well. Very friendly and welcoming host, waiting for us and greeting us very late. Location is good to explore Panticosa and Formigal, but do not forget the chains for the car if you visit it during the winter time. Many thanks, we had a wonderful time!

Next door restaurant (and part of the same building) Roto is really great! Delicious food (especially the sushi) great vibe, dj in the afternoon, cozy breakfasts, super friendly staff. Sno hotel Formigal however was very dissapointing and definitely no 4 stars worth.

Everything was great. This was out second stay at this hotel, and we came back for a reason. Both our stays were in the summer, so some things might be different during the winter season. The location is great and quiet, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean, and the kitchen comes in handy. There is free parking nearby and the small town has a great restaurant nearby.

The room and toilet were spacious and clean. The breakfast was great! The staff was very attentive. We didn´t have time to enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi, but it looked OK. There is a private bus teking you from the hotel to the ski resort, although you can get driving in 2 minutes.

What a wonderful find and beautiful region. The family that own the hotel could not have been friendlier or more accommodating from the moment we arrived, Annafel greeted us and showed us to our room, which was in the adjoining annex. It was a lovely spacious suite with a rustic character and a large leather sofa. Steps led down to a sumptuous bathroom in the cellar, complete with a sauna and spa bath. As we arrived at the end of the season and were the only guests on the first night, the restaurant was closed but reopened for the following two nights, when more guests arrived. The food was regional and very well prepared, as was the breakfast that offered an excellent selection. A special mention has to be made of Antonio, hotel manger & son of the owners, he was so friendly, helpful and fluent in many languages, he give us advice on what to do in the area and arranged dinner for us on the first evening at a local bar. The only slight disappointment and one we should have checked being out of season and current regulations imposed due the drought, was that the spa was only available by pre-booking and took a few hours to prepare, so we did not manage to use it but it looked fabulous!
