This small hotel in Langre features elegant accommodation with views over the cliffs and Santander Bay. It offers free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. Lovely situation, nice room, staff very friendly. Would highly recommend and we will stay again

La Casona Las Cinco Calderas is a 17th century noble house converted into a rural hotel, located in the Cantabrian coastal countryside. It is on the route of the Camino de Santiago del Norte. The inn was absolutely stunning. Completely upgraded and redecorated within the last year by the current owners. The design finishes were impeccable and the common areas on the main floor and the bucolic setting were lovely. The entire experience was peaceful and restful. The honor bar was a nice touch as was offering dinner on site. Our room was large and easily accommodated 3. The breakfast was a notch above the standard hotel breakfast. The owners were attentive and let us check into our room early so that I had time for a nap. Best accommodation yet on the Camino.

Hotel Vijanera is located 500 metres from Galizano beach and 3 km from Langre beach and the Cabo de Ajo cliff. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking and an à la carte restaurant. Ramera made this stay a ‘10’ as he was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was very comfortable with a cozy bed, large window that opened and very nice private bathroom (shower had foot massager!). Attached restaurant made getting food and drinks a breeze.

Bemon Playa Hotel is located in the town of Somo, across the bay from Santander. It is just 150 metres from a long sandy beach and various surfing schools. Surf equipment can be stored on site. Everything was great about the location and hotel.
