Just 100 metres from the bridge to Olavinlinna Castle, this small boutique hotel is next to Lake Saimaa in Savonlinna. It offers individually decorated rooms with scenic views and free wired internet.... Absolutely one of the best little places I've stayed anywhere! It's a cosy little place with only a couple of rooms which open up to a lawn with an amazing view of the castle and the lake. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed getting to chat with her after breakfast and learning more about the area. It was more akin to being a welcomed guest in someone's home rather than just a customer as a hotel. I would absolutely stay there again!

Dating back to the 1800s, this charming manor is found in the Finnish Lake District, 7 km from Mikkeli. It offers an award-winning restaurant and elegant rooms with garden views. Such an enchanting place ! Everything so special, super nice breakfast with natural ingredients. I think the best service I have ever gotten.

Set in an orthodox monastery by Lake Juojärvi, Valamon Luostari offers peaceful accommodation and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing. Joensuu city centre is 55 minutes’ drive away. Everything was excellent. The room was cozy and very comfortable. It has everything, what can be needed during the stay. The quality of the internet connection was very good. The room was beautifully decorated. If you come to pray, you can not bring your own icons, since the room has one big icon.

Great and beautiful decorated hotel with super friendly staff. The breakfast did exceeded our expectations. Big plus that we could charge our car at the hotel.

Located on an island on Lake Saimaa, this property is 10 minutes' drive from Punkaharju and 30 minutes’ drive from Savonlinna. It offers free WiFi and great fishing opportunities just metres away. The atmosphere And the nature is the key of the place. Very poor breakfast.

Set in a mansion from 1860, this property is 10 minutes’ drive from the town of Ristiina and 15 km from central Mikkeli. It offers a private beach area of Löydönlampi Pond, 250 metres away. Very beautiful area, friendly staff, clean and warm room. The trip was in September on a very windy day so I was afraid it might be cold, but it was not. Clean bathroom area with heated floors. Room has all the needed facilities. Comfortable stay with the pet, the area has a lot nice roads to walk. The room was so warm that the pet could sleep on the floor and not get cold. Comfortable beds and cozy atmosphere. Easy commute to Mikkeli.
