We also thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the restaurant, which had a very nice children’s menu as well. The stay was completed by the delightful receptionist Max, and his colleagues, who could not have been more helpful and friendly.

Santa Claus Holiday Village is located at the heart of Santa Claus Village in the Arctic Circle, 8 km north of Rovaniemi. Santa Claus Holiday Village offers three different types of accommodation. Staying there is great because you are in the centre of everything. When you are cold or do not want to do anything, you can just go and relax at the cabin. Breakfast is wondrerful.

Very good location top of the hill. I liked interior solutions. Also northern light seeing possipilities ant set up for that were good.

We had a very pleasant stay in Nova Galaxy Village! Staff was extremely helpful, food delicious prepared in front of you on the fire. Salmon is a must try! location is amazing - surrounded by nature and not too far from Rovaniemi. Hotel organizes activities like husky ride and snowmobile, providing all necessary equipment and thermal clothing/boots. Absence of shower is compensated by having private sauna with hot and cold water which you can mix. all necessary amenities are there- water, shampoo, soap, cold storage for food, kettle, charging ports, wifi, loudspeaker, sockets etc. Igloo is rather small but space is well organized and we had enough space for 2 small suitcases. It was very warm inside the igloo as well so don’t need to worry about that. we had a great experience in winter paradise! Looking forward to come back.

Everything was perfect. Very nice staff. Also, they had lots of cool box games. Perfect remote location for the northern lights.

Of the four different hotels we stayed at during our Lapland stay, the Arctic Treehouse Hotel was by far my favorite. The reception greeted us with a warm welcome, and were even able to give us an early check-in to drop off our luggage prior to the tour we had planned. One of the above-and-beyond services provided by this hotel is the complimentary shuttle that drops you off and picks you up from your room so you do not have to drag your luggage through the snow. Simply message the hotel reception via WhatsApp and they will promptly drive you around the hotel premises as needed. Looking at photos on the internet, prior to our stay I was slightly concerned about the room feeling cramped. That turned out to not be the case at all as the layout of the room is perfectly designed. The closet fit our two large suitcases and carry on luggage, and the bed headboard doubles as additional cabinet storage. The Scandinavian décor creates a cozy nest ambiance and the room was full of thoughtful touches, including a Bluetooth speaker (perfect for playing Christmas music!) and a book outlining the history of Santa Claus. Most importantly, the view from the room is absolutely breathtaking and surpassed my (already high) expectations. As a free perk of booking a night through IHG, we received a Smith extra of “a bottle of wine by one of the private outdoor fire pits.” This turned out to be much more than I expected - the hotel prepped a fire inside a traditional Laavu (a wooden lean-to structure, with one open wall) on the outskirts of the hotel premise. They had additional firewood for us to keep the fire going, and provided us with our choice of a bottle of red or white wine. After enjoying our wine by the fire, we took a short walk through the snowy forest to the lookout tower that provides a gorgeous view of the rest of Rovaniemi. I highly recommend this hotel for couples and those seeking a more secluded stay (compared to downtown Rovaniemi or Santa Claus Village).

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 72 metres long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. Absoluetly beautiful, remote enough so you really feel lost in Lapland. Great breakfast as well!

Курортний готель Santasport розташований у мальовничому куточку північної природи, неподалік від гірськолижного курорту Оунасваара та лише за 2 км від центру міста Рованіємі. 1. The property is near the airport. 2. Free parking space was provided. 3. The room given to us was clean and affordable. Facilities inside the room like sauna, heaters were superb. 4. Check in and check out was smooth. 5. The breakfast was a feast. It was so good. Plus points as well for the free pool access although we weren’t able to avail of this. They have other facilities as well with discounts given.
