Located in Espoo, 1.8 km from Matinkylä Beach, Hotel Matts provides accommodation with a terrace, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Quiet, well-appointed, clean, comfortable rooms. The rooftop sauna with terrace was a special highlight. Very nice, plentiful breakfast buffet. The metro station is directly accessible through the same building as the hotel, so it is extremely easy to get around quickly. The big mall next door is also very helpful.

The Folks Hotel Konepaja features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Helsinki. The staff in this establish are outstanding, from the lovely, helpful reception staff, to the waiting staff, to housekeeping, everyone was so friendly and warm. I also loved the sauna and tranquil yoga studio which was perfect to unwind after a very long journey. The hotel is in a very interesting area of Helsinki which is a short tram or bus ride away from the city centre. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe getting to and from the hotel, even late at night. Breakfast was lovely too.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Lapland were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. One of the highlights of our room was the private sauna—it was absolutely amazing and added a unique touch to our relaxation time. I highly recommend booking a room with a sauna for a truly different kind of experience. The food at the hotel restaurant was also a standout. Every meal was delicious, featuring a great variety of flavors that cater to all palates. Whether you’re here for relaxation or adventure, Lapland provides a perfect blend of comfort, quality service, and exceptional amenities. I can’t wait to return!

Located in Espoo by the Baltic Sea, 10 minutes’ drive from Helsinki, this hotel features rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Guests enjoy a free daily morning sauna and swim. Meals were great. The property was very nice and I enjoyed walking by the shore each morning. The packed breakfast due to an early departure was a great treat and was really delicious. Room temperature was good and my neighbors were quiet. Bed was comfy and I slept well. The staff was warm and welcoming. Really a great stay. My cousins recommended the hotel and I see why.

Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. The hotel is charming - a tastefully converted prison! The room we had was perfect - everything worked! The hotel is perfectly situated for the Viking Line terminal and is right on the number 4 tram route which makes getting into the city centre very easy (although this is a very pleasant 15 minute walk if you don't want to use the tram). The breakfast offering is superb and the dinner menu is excellent with freshly cooked and well presented dishes. The staff are very welcoming and exceptionally helpful.
