After 16 years living in France this was the first time I felt respected and truly welcomed as a customer. This hotel gets my sincere admiration.

Located in Vars les Claux, 150 metres from the Peynier Ski Lift, Les Carlines offers lodge style accommodation. This lodge features a restaurant, a bar and a wellness centre with a sauna an a hot tub.... Close to the ski lift. Infrared(!) sauna available with bubble bath, bookable for 45 minutes. Window had a curtain. The staff is nice, but speaks only french.

The owners were really kind and helpful. They prepared a fantastic breakfast for us every morning and a really delicious dinner every evening. I would stay with them again if I ever have the chance to go back!

Situated in Vars-Sainte-Marie in the French Alps, this family-run hotel, located on the Grandes Alpes Route, is just 150 metres from the ski lifts and slopes. This hotel in a small French Alpine village Vars is an excellent example of how a guest can feel home. The family which owns and runs the hotel and the restaurant is amazing. They do absolutely everything for you to feel comfortable and to be happy while you are there. I highly recommend to stay there if you visit Vars. Besides all, it is the 5th generation of this family who runs the business. All of them are working 24/7 for guests satisfaction. The kitchen is another high quality approach story. Every day you have different menu, so you can enjoy the variety of French cuisine.

The Chalet-Hôtel Alpage & SPA is located in the village of Sainte Marie, just 150 metres from ski slopes. It features a spa, a cosy bar with fireplace and a mezzanine lounge. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with explaining what we can do in the area (there is some amazing hiking/walking trails) . The local beer was delicious and the breakfast in the morning was great too!
