Our room theme was tastefully and authentically done and connected to personal memories of my time in Africa years ago. The room had all modern facilities and lovely views. The grounds and gardens were inviting and interesting. The link between travel and histories was seamless and provided additional interest. We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant on both nights. The warm welcome from the owner Sandrine, even though we arrived late evening. She was helpful with local information and suggestions for dinner. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I felt like my mother was there, encouraging me to eat more!!
