Our room theme was tastefully and authentically done and connected to personal memories of my time in Africa years ago. The room had all modern facilities and lovely views. The grounds and gardens were inviting and interesting. The link between travel and histories was seamless and provided additional interest. We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant on both nights. The breakfast is served on the indoor or outdoor terrace, overlooking the garden. very nice and welcoming staff! we’re quick in action and flexible with requests (early check-in), eager to help and advise :) the building itself very cosy and beautiful with a lovely garden.

The Abbey of Villeneuve, former Cistercian abbey of the thirteenth century, Sorinières, near the city of Nantes. We had the most amazing time at the Abbaye de Villeneuve when we spent one night there driving from Brittany to South of France. The service was amazing, the rooms beautiful, and we got to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast was also delicious. I recommend asking for a reservation at L’Epicurien as well (the Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel) which was delicious.

Set in a 19th-century chapel with stained-glass windows, this boutique hotel has a 24/7 reception and is located opposite the Botanic Garden in the centre of Nantes. Super smile and cheerful lady welcomed us. Provide and explain the touring information to us, and with all maps and even restaurants timetable. The room itself is with very nice design though the size was a bit small. Love the hotel itself was turned from a chapel. Parking is easy inside. or street parking not difficult too.
