Located in the heart of the Vallée de la Loire and its famous castles, Hotel Castel Fleuri offers a warm and friendly welcome in a charming house set in a peaceful residential district of Tours. We wanted a hotel a bit outside the town center, with a secure place for our car, and found just that, but we also found so much more. This is a quite family hotel, run by the most welcoming and friendly staff, from the women who welcomed us when we arrived to the owner couple serving us the best French breakfast you can desire. We were just driving through, and stayed just one night, but if you want to explore the Loire valley, Castel Fleuri in Tours is the place for you. We will return and do that!

It was a buffet, but when we came shortly after 0930 , it looked like a battle field. They did not refill it. The choice of food was also limited……

The service was exceptional - the communication so responsive before we arrived, even booking us a reservation at a local restaurant (we arrived on a day the hotel’s restaurant was closed) and helping us when we arrived later than planned due to roadworks. The room was beautiful - a lovely combination of period and modern style, with a great bathroom. I highly recommend enjoying the gardens in the evening (if arriving on a day restaurant is closed, consider bringing a picnic and staying on site).

Much nicer than our expectations. In fact we thought it was more 3star than 2. The room was big, comfortable, quiet and tastefully furnished and we had a warm welcome at the reception. Great location for a good variety of restaurants and for visiting the cathedral.

Michelin restaurant an amazing experience.
