Located in the heart of the Vallée de la Loire and its famous castles, Hotel Castel Fleuri offers a warm and friendly welcome in a charming house set in a peaceful residential district of Tours. We wanted a hotel a bit outside the town center, with a secure place for our car, and found just that, but we also found so much more. This is a quite family hotel, run by the most welcoming and friendly staff, from the women who welcomed us when we arrived to the owner couple serving us the best French breakfast you can desire. We were just driving through, and stayed just one night, but if you want to explore the Loire valley, Castel Fleuri in Tours is the place for you. We will return and do that!

I’m on a long vacation and this was my favorite hotel so far. It’s a brand new hotel at a very convenient location (walking distance to everywhere). It has a lovely little courtyard full of sunshine. The room was bright, spacious (felt larger than it looked on the pictures), with elegant decorations (I loved the wall paper and the dry flowers on the table) and very modern and convenient facilities. Had a good night of sleep in a comfortable bed. The room was absolutely quiet at night. The staff team was impeccable - everyone was super friendly and helpful. I arrived early in the morning, the lady who greeted me gave me great advices re the city. Later in the day, at the bar, I had very pleasant conversations with Simon and his new colleague.

Hôtel du Château du Rivau offers guest rooms in Lémeré. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a garden which guests can access after hours. Chateau du Rivau is a wonderful place to stay. The service was exceptional - the communication so responsive before we arrived, even booking us a reservation at a local restaurant (we arrived on a day the hotel’s restaurant was closed) and helping us when we arrived later than planned due to roadworks. The room was beautiful - a lovely combination of period and modern style, with a great bathroom. I highly recommend enjoying the gardens in the evening (if arriving on a day restaurant is closed, consider bringing a picnic and staying on site).

Auberge Pom’Poire is located in an orchard just on the boarder of Azay le Rideau. It features air-conditioned and soundproofed rooms that are individually decorated in a country-style. The restaurant is incredible. I wish we had booked it for both nights.

Everything was great during my stay. The property was lovely, room was exceptionally clean and the hotel owner was so friendly, kind and helpful. Would certainly come back.

Hôtel Grand Monarque is an 18th-century post house, located at the heart of the Loire Valley in Azay-le-Rideau, 150 metres from its famous castle. It features a lounge bar. One of the best places we've stayed...professional and friendly reception, the room was well-done and lovely with stone walls and chandelier sconces. Very convenient and large parking space across the street. Breakfast was nice too. Location was excellent, a very short walk to cafés, restaurants and shops.

It is set in a 20-hectare park with an Italian terrace and a heated outdoor swimming pool. restored chateau where you really felt you were staying in a grand yet authentic spot. service was impeccable even in the slow shoulder season. the grounds are gorgeous- would love to return in season.
