Dual aspect room with balcony over looking river and surrounded by autumnal trees. Terrace, great lounge, friendly welcoming staff. Delicious food. It really was all very good indeed.

This splendid hotel must have undergone a complete modernization. The only hint was the residual circular stairways which had been supervened by the excellent elevator system. We were DELIGHTED, as our expectations were so exceeded. There is walled parking and we could see out car from our room. WE have NO reservations in recommending this hotel as absolutely perfect.

Former coach house, this hotel is situated in the heart of Vézelay. Well-known in the area, it accommodated the actors in the famous French movie La Grande Vadrouille. Elegant, spacious bathroom, deep closets and a panoramic view of the countryside from my room. Staff were all gracious and helpful. The location is perfect. It is surrounded by natural beauty and historic buildings. Vezelay and the this area of Burgundy is truly beautiful. Everyone I encountered was friendly and generous with their time.
