The New White Lion is located in Llandovery. Free WiFi access is available. There is also an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The property was first rate and owners were very accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious especially the homemade bread.

This former coaching inn is set on the edge of Brecon Beacons, in the historic market town of Abergavenny. The Angel Hotel offers a restaurant, bar, and free Wi-Fi. I loved the vibe in this hotel. Very characteristic but also modern comforts. Lots of activity in the bars and restaurants. Very lively. Beautiful spacious room. Friendly people. I loved the restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip to Wales here. Breakfast was outstanding. Great table service, drink top ups. Loved the hospitality. The town is lovely as well. Parking lot behind the hotel.

Breakfast was basic continental: cereal, toast, a croissant on one day, yogurt. Fine. There's as restaurant too, that does mainly fish and chips, that sort of thing. Not gourmet, but cheap and pleasant. The location was fine--Talgarth is a very small town, and you could easily walk anywhere from the hotel. It's on a somewhat busy road, but at night it's very quiet. The owners, twin brothers, are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Obviously at this price you don't expect luxury--but it's quite excellent value. I would certainly return.

In Hay-on-Wye, The Swan at Hay is positioned between the Brecon Beacons and The Black Mountains. Wonderful staff, beautiful old building just on the edge of Hay, nice restaurant and bar, nice outdoor seating, quiet, pretty surroundings, staff that really went above and beyond, onsite parking.

Unitatea de cazare The Bear, situată în localitatea Crickhowell din Parcul Naţional Brecon Beacons, datează din 1432. One of the most beautiful pubs/hotels I stayed in. Stunning 500 year old building beaming with character in picture perfect Crickhowell. Cosy, tastefully decorated rooms, great bathroom. Fantastic dinner amazing breakfast, including local produce. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.
