Convenient location, the staff were great, i was very late checking in due to delayed flights, baggage carousel break downs and traffic chaos due to a serious accident, but the bar manager stayed on to let me in. The breakfast was also great, very filling.

Secret hideaway. Loved the rural atmosphere with horses in the field behind and the lovely little pond in front. The space was clean, comfortable and hi tech. Loved the hot tub that was ready to enjoy when we arrived. It was a quiet peaceful night of sleep.

Boasting a bar, Aaron Glen Guest House is set in Loanhead. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. At the guest house all rooms include a private bathroom. Excellent, immaculate, and flawless. I travel a lot and have something to compare with. Charming hostess. Lovely, spotlessly clean rooms, very comfortable beds. Simply the best guest house I have ever visited. Highly recommend and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful service.

Set 1.1 km from Butterfly & Insect World, Glenarch House is in Dalkeith and features a garden and a terrace. The accommodation is 2.1 km from the Dalkeith Country Park. A beautiful setting with charming and quiet rooms. Great hosts! Restaurants and grocery within walking distance and travel to Edinburgh was easily accessible by bus. A perfect way to wrap up our time in Edinburgh.

The location was brilliant as we were going to a wedding at the castle. The pottery was so cosy and ticked all the boxes, both of the owners were so welcoming and attentive. We even got lucky with the chickens and had fresh eggs! We will definitely be returning. 5*****
