Susan and Stephen were really welcoming and knowledgeable about the islands. Room was really comfortable and well equipped. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast and evening meals, all home cooked and great quality. Bonus of a lovely bar for a drink in the evening, and the views of the sunsets were amazing. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is in a great place for exploring the local area.

It was a nice facility and right on the water. A classic Scottish Inn. Loved the bar area, but the warm greetings from the staff was the best part. Dinner was also very good.

The Crown Inn offers pet-friendly accommodation in Stornoway, 400 metres from Museum Nan Eilean. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Breakfast was excellent- a great choice of food

In the heart of the Hebrides, this boutique-style hotel offers individually designed en suite bedrooms all with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, tea/coffee and DVD players. Staff were friendly and efficient. Loved the breakfast menu.

Stornoway's most historic hotel, the Royal nestles in the heart of Stornoway, beside the marina, where you can relax, enjoy the hotel's cosy character and enjoy dining in our Boatshed Restaurant or in... Very clean rooms that were really warm...just what was needed when it was below freezing outside. Great location and good views. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Stornoway.

The location is magical and the room beautiful - but the most important thing is the kindness of the people that own this little hotel. I got sick while staying there, and they took care of me and helped me get well. These guys made me feel like I had a family away from home.

Stornoway's largest hotel, Caladh Inn is just half a mile to Stornoway Lewis Ferry Terminal and less than 3 miles from Stornoway Airport. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available. Very nice facility, luxury stay. Room was difficult to locate, need map of hotel. Signs needed to find reception, the sign existing is in the wrong place.

Set within in its own attractive gardens, this modern 4-star hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of Stornoway, just across the road from the golf course leading onto historic Lews Castle... Everything was fine.. staff really helpful and friendly
