Brantwood Hotel ligger lige uden for Penrith, mindre end 4,8 km fra Ullswater. Hotellet ligger blot 1,6 km fra frakørsel 40 på M6 og tilbyder værelser med eget badeværelse. This was a last minute booking due to travel disruption and we were highly impressed with the Brantwood Hotel, the pictures don’t do it justice. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the Hotel has many quirky designs in it architecture. The food, evening meal and breakfast was delicious. From a rating point of view it’s a 10/10.

Boasting an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, and modern rooms, the 4-star luxury North Lakes Hotel and Spa, is located just off the M6 motorway. The hotel was lovely & the staff were friendly & efficient. The food for both dinner & breakfast was lovely.

Roundthorn Country House og luksuslejligheder med egen forplejning ligger i en anlagt have med panoramaudsigt over Eden Valley og Lakeland Fells. First class hotel. Friendly helpful staff, beautiful, comfortable room and excellent food. We were driving south from Scotland to Liverpool to join a cruise ship, unfortunately due to bad weather conditions our itinerary was changed and we elected not to sail. I rang the hotel on our way back north and were delighted that they were able to give us the same room. Would definitely stay at Roundthorn again.
