Fabulous manor house that has been beautifully converted to a hotel and restaurant/bar. It is also a wedding venue. The real candlelight every evening is magical. The staff was attentive yet not invasive. It was relaxing to be a guest there.

The food is fantastic here and the rooms were beautifully appointed. All of the staff were delightful We were traveling with two other people and the hotel upgraded their room to a gorgeous suite! There’s also parking in the back of the property which is very nice.

The location, the atmosphere inside the hotel, the staff. Everything combined made us have a lovely stay that allowed us to have a refreshing stop in the Dale. The bar inside the hotel was also beautiful and very relaxing.

The location was absolutely stunning—we loved the proximity to the Pennine Way. Our rooms were clean, newly remodeled, just lovely. The pub and restaurant were atmospheric and cosy with delicious food.
