Amazing location with fantastic views. The dinner at the hotel at night made it very convenient for intimate stays. The atmosphere was welcoming and personalized. The proprietor provided a blind rum tasting at my request which was entertaining and enlightening. The “Fancy Dinner” night held once a month had great entertainment. Gary also arranged for transport and made some food recommendations of where to eat in Tzununa and what to do in the area

The various views of the majestic Lake Atitlán from the various levels and terraces invite to explore. You can really soak up the atmosphere of the place - just .... magical. The owners took great effort in creating a place of effortless beauty, a place where you feel immediately welcomed and absorbed by the geography and scenery. If you want to really, deeply breath in the essence of Lake Atitlán and, dare I say, the essence of Guatemalan hospitality as such, spend a night. You'll wish you could stay forever.

Offering an outdoor pool and a hydro-massage hot tub, Tzampoc Resort is located in Santa Catarina Palopó. What a fabulous stay! We absolutely loved our experience here and after doing a lot of research believe it may be the nicest property on the entire lake. Facilities were beautiful with stunning views from the rooms and infinity pool. Staff were world-class, always smiling, energetic, friendly, and ready to say yes. They truly went above and beyond. Bartender Cristian is the best! Our upgraded room was spectacular and newly remodeled with a beautiful tub overlooking the lake. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks at the pool bar were all excellent. The hotel also arranged for a great couples massage, laundry service, and a private boat tour of the lake. Thanks so much and we will be back!!

Atitlan Villas feature rustic-style architecture, a swimming pool and hot tub overlooking the Atitlan lake. Built into the mountainside, it provides panoramic lake views. Mario and his staff were outstanding. They were attentive, caring and trust worthy. They made us feel as if we were guests in their private home. The secluded location and view of the lake/volcanos were spectacular and the large fluffy pool towels for cool evening dips into the jacuzzi were a bonus.
