Gary also arranged for transport and made some food recommendations of where to eat in Tzununa and what to do in the area

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area in Atitlán Lake, Hotel La Casa del Mundo is located in El Jaibalito. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. The location of Casa del Mundo is perfect. Every room has a view of the lake and the volcanoes and the whole hotel is full of plants and stairs that connect everything. Also there are spa treatments like sauna, massages, hot tubs and swimming stops. The breakfast and dinner is very delicious and the staff is super friendly.

Offering an outdoor pool and a hydro-massage hot tub, Tzampoc Resort is located in Santa Catarina Palopó. What a fabulous stay! We absolutely loved our experience here and after doing a lot of research believe it may be the nicest property on the entire lake. Facilities were beautiful with stunning views from the rooms and infinity pool. Staff were world-class, always smiling, energetic, friendly, and ready to say yes. They truly went above and beyond. Bartender Cristian is the best! Our upgraded room was spectacular and newly remodeled with a beautiful tub overlooking the lake. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks at the pool bar were all excellent. The hotel also arranged for a great couples massage, laundry service, and a private boat tour of the lake. Thanks so much and we will be back!!

Atitlan Villas feature rustic-style architecture, a swimming pool and hot tub overlooking the Atitlan lake. Built into the mountainside, it provides panoramic lake views. Mario and his staff were outstanding. They were attentive, caring and trust worthy. They made us feel as if we were guests in their private home. The secluded location and view of the lake/volcanos were spectacular and the large fluffy pool towels for cool evening dips into the jacuzzi were a bonus.
