Zlatna Vala Hotel is located near Umag, in Novigrad direction, and it has direct access to a bay that is very suitable for swimming. When going into the water, one can discover sand, which is rarely seen in Croatia. The seaview room has had all the facilities for a relaxing holiday - extremely clean and with a nice scent, comfortable bed, generous storage space, walls painted in Mediterranean colours. Breakfast is diverse and of premium quality and is served in the calm and invigorating scenery of the seaview terrace. At dinner we have enjoyed very finely prepared seafood-based meals. The hotel has a carefully maintained garden, a tennis court that can be rented and bikes available for guests for free. The guest parking is in the garden and is covered, protecting the cars from the sun. Most certainly, the hotel standards are high-end. My deepest appreciation to the family managing the hotel. The North-West area of Istria is very picturesque, offering tourists everything they desire: restaurants with delicious meals, premium quality wines, towns with architecture untouched by modern trends, discreet people, amazing scenery and a crystal clear sea.

Set in Umag, Residence Umag Plava Laguna offers beachfront accommodation 250 metres from Umag’s Main Beach and offers various facilities, such as a restaurant, a bar and a garden. Due to having some movement restrictions, I made a request when making a reservation to be assigned a room that is easily available and the hotel obliged which made my stay that much more comfortable. Also, all the employees in the hotel were incredibly nice and helpful. Special thanks to reception clerk Mr. Mario for going the extra mile and speaking our local language. The location is also great, practically on the beach. We have very nice memories of our stay at this hotel.

Þessi samstæða er aðeins 250 metrum frá Adríahafinu. Frá henni liggur 3 km langt göngusvæði við sjóinn inn í miðbæ Umag. I had a small request from the staff on what to find in my room for my wife. The staff when beyond their duty to make the request as nice as possible. That realy make our stay nicer and my wife was very happy. Breakfast was very very good

Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna has a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a bar and garden in Umag. LOCATION: The location is perfect. The hotel is located in the northern part of Umag next to the sea, in a holiday area. The town centre is about 30 minutes walk. There are more types of beaches 50 meters from the hotel (sandy, gravel, rocky). (Rubber shows are recommended) The water slowly deepens. About 200 m away in the north there is a harbor with always calm water. Ideal for families with small children. PARKING: Parking is really not a problem. For only 1 euro/day you can park in one of the parking places of the Hotel. There are always free spots. HOTEL: The building looks completely new. It is modern, spacious. ROOM: We were in the premium family room with a seaside view and balcony. It was enough for a family with two kids. (bedsheets, towels, hairdryer, shampoo, airconditioning) STAFF: One of the highlights is the staff of the hotel. Everyone is kind and helpful. There was a blond lady (Unfortunately, i don't remember her name) at the breakfast check-in desk who cheered my daughter for her birthday. She said that she always looks up who has birthday that day and some people appreciate it. Well, we really appreciated this gesture. FOOD: Breakfast has a wide variety and high quality. Dinner is also recommended if you go with smaller kids. There are only a few restaurants within walking distance and if you don't like Croatian cuisine it is hard to find suitable. At dinner, there are croatian and international meals as well for a good price. To eat out there some restaurants nearby (Luna: very kind waiters and owner. Pizza, pasta, fishes. Lido: for fishes. It is very close to Hotel, at the docks. Planet: grilled food, burgers.). POOL: there is fresh salty water in the pool which is mainly for children, but for them they are perfect. You get fresh, clean towels every day which are unpacked in front of you. ANIMATORS: Kids disco in the evening. OVERALL: It is a perfect holiday destination for families.

Located in Umag, 250 metres from Aurora Beach, Hotel Garden Istra Plava Laguna features accommodation with a bar, private parking, a garden and a terrace. Cleaning was done every day , changed of towels were changed everyday, and room as well cleaned. Breakfast and dinner all the time with different variations to be able to chose and fresh food . Stuff very friendly and great at serving.

Situated in Umag, Hotel Umag Plava Laguna offers beachfront accommodation 150 metres from Umag’s Main Beach and provides various facilities, such as a restaurant, a bar and a garden. I liked the proximity to the beach, the food and professional staff. This was our second stay at the hotel and we plan to visit next year again. Loved it!
