The Eccles Hotel and Spa is situated in Glengarriff and overlooks Bantry Bay. The Eccles has panoramic sea views, a restaurant with an outside terrace and free parking. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff made us feel so welcome. We really felt like we were leaving a home base. Loved it and will definitely be back.

The location, the room , the breakfast …. And especially our hosts. They went well above and beyond our expectations. We arrived well after midnight and they were both there to greet us. They helped us with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed as they knew we were tired. I would recommend to anyone to stay here. It was first class and top of our B & B stays. When we come back again we will definitely stay here and for longer. Thanks to both of you for your hospitality and friendship. Dave and Teresa.

The bath and the wood burner were such a great extra ❤️❤️❤️ Steph and Chris were absolutely lovely! And the alpacas were just a treat. The kids lòved it too

The location is great, the accommodation is very comfortable, and above all Mary and Chris are the most wonderful hosts ever. In fact we wanted to stay longer but they were already fully booked. Not surprisingly. Breakfast not to be missed! Freshly made following everyone’s wishes.

The Black Sheep is clean and comfortable, sits right on the bank of a beautiful river, and has the Glengarriff Nature Reserve as a backyard. Glengarriff itself is a charming little village, the surrounding area of the Beara peninsula is gorgeous!

We arrived ,having had great communication ,with a big welcome and a huge smile (we were biking around The Ring of Beara and so rather sweaty)and immediately a welcome seat and drink were thrust upon us . Mary and John’s attention to every detail were extraordinary. Scrupulously clean and nothing too much trouble.They chatted , engaged and educated us on every level, whilst ensuring we were comfortable. We had a fabulous dinner, including mussels , gathered and cooked to perfection by John himself …..soup , chicken and everything you could wish for . Breakfast ,with many options ,was a nutritious delight. A little piece of paradise . Mary and John invite you into their home and make it your own! Respect and enjoy this true Irish welcome .
