Excellent breakfast with happy friendly staff .The whole experience was amazing.Spacious bedrooms and lounges which were very cosy and comfortable. Location just.at the edge of Abbeyleix was very peaceful. Reception staff very heloful too and friendly.. We will certainly return..

The Heritage offers 4-star accommodation in Killenard. Set within private gardens, guests may enjoy the on-site features including a leisure centre, award-winning spa, and on-site bars and... Everything about the stay was perfect - the experience was excellent from Check-in, food service to Spa Facility we were met with the same excellent service standard, where nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our needs during the stay. The location is super convenient to M7 would highly recommend and I will definitely return.

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town centre and O'Moore Park. It boasts a 20-metre pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym. Fantastic staff! Friendly courteous and superbly efficient. Could not have asked for better service and pleasurable staff

Located in Mountmellick and only 22 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Summergrove House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked and served to one's liking, I really enjoyed it and there was no rush on it, very relaxed atmosphere. The bedroom and bed were very cosy, lots of original features everywhere in the house, and I got to play my instrument downstairs in one of the reception rooms. It was a lovely stay and I'd love to go back one day.

The Yoke has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Ballybrittas, 16 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. John and Bernie were great hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble. I will definitely return.

Offering a garden and garden view, Kearney's Cottage B&B is located in Killenard, 18 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre and 23 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. The owners were wonderful and could not have been nicer, the continental breakfast was top class. There's a pub only 4 minutes walk up the road that has great food. It's a very beautiful peaceful area , I slept like a log.

Set 31 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 34 km from Kilkenny Railway Station, Preston House features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Amazing place to stay! I felt like I was in a museum. Wonderful kitchen and the most comfortable bed. This was a last minute booking as we were on our way to Dublin but we were too tired to go any further that day. I wish I could spend a couple days here just relaxing and looking at all the books. Excellent hospitality!

Offering a garden and garden view, LittleField B&B Durrow, Laois is situated in Durrow, 28 km from Kilkenny Railway Station and 29 km from Kilkenny Castle. Just beautiful! Facilities are amazing, the selection for breakfast was overwhelming. Will definitely come back - highly recommend, and don’t forget the amazing host!
