The Inn had recently been renovated and was beautiful inside and out. All new carpets, wall decor, doors, bathrooms, every attention to detail was made. Michael, the bar/inn manager was so friendly and welcoming. He helped us decide on food for dinner and was very warm. Inn was perfectly located in town, easy walk to shops, coffee, and both the Abbey and Castle, which we were excited to see.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... A very lovely hotel, kind staff. Rooms are very spacious, clean. The bistro has excellent food. Location is nice and calm, definitely recommend going to the Corlea trackway. Big free car park available.

Set within calm surroundings of lawns and gardens close to Roscommon Town Centre, this charming 18th-century manor house has a leisure centre, award-winning restaurant and free parking. Breakfast very poor quality and cold should be cooked freshly not cooked hours before and left in Bain Maire 4star hotel not cheap so breakfast really left this hotel down

In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Fabulous hotel. It is very clean & well decorated. Bed was comfortable & room was quiet. It shares an underground carpark with the shopping center but there were plenty of spaces in the long term parking area. The hotel validate your ticket as many times as you want also so you don't pay for parking at all. It is a perfect location for shopping, you don't even have to go outside!

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. I got upgraded to a Bridal Suite Room for no reason & it made my night! Was very special & a real treat for me so thank you so very very much to the lovely lady at the check in desk!

This 4-star hotel has a Championship golf course and is 5 miles from Athlone. All newly reformed rooms at the Glasson Lakehouse have free Wi-Fi, TVs and a room service menu. Decor, staff and location were fabulous. Such a great hotel and an experience I would recommend anyone to try. Also you can bring your doggie which was lovely

After a lot of days of walking in the rain it was nice to be in a cozy hotel steps away from the city sites. And a nice pool, steamroom and sauna to relax and feel warm Ease of check-in despite a lot of people checking in at the same time. Staff was very helpful and calm.

Situated on the verge of Roscommon Town, this family-run hotel offers spacious, quality accommodation, free high-speed Wi-Fi and first class food. The breakfast was wonderful. I loved the room. Everything was clean and well kept.
