Hótel Vellir is a 3-star property situated on the outskirts of the capital city and only 36 km from the airport. The breakfast was great, the room was spotless and the staff was remarkable!!! The receptionist who spoke English and Polish represented a high level of professionalism!It's so rare currently, she should be rewarded for her dedication!

This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbour in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbour during winter. Fun hotel. Clean, small rooms. We enjoyed the restaurant.
