Located just a 5-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, Hakuba Alpine Hotel features simple rooms and outdoor hot spring baths. It is just a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. This hotel is much better than the photos shown in booking.com, especially the onsen, the photos shown in booking.com needed to be updated, to show the nice and clean onsen. The dinner and breakfast provided by the hotel, is the best Japanese meals my family ever had, It's very delicious and fresh, we enjoyed and finished everything in our plates. The onsen is not big but very nice, it has 2 onsen - one outdoor and one indoor, both are very warm and fantastic feel, especially after ski.

The staff at House of Finn Juhl were amazing! I booked these rooms for my family trip, Yuka helped me plan dinners for our large group before we arrived and then upon arrival was even more amazing. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was beautiful. They helped arrange our Takyubin to the next location for our luggage. They provided amazing snacks and great breakfasts, it was wonderful!

We traveled as a family of four with our two adult children and were greeted most warmly by the host Takumi and his wife with personalized service, delicious cake and drink. Our rooms were very comfortable clean and spacious. We couldn’t believe how easy our host made it to rent skis and ski gear in the comfort and privacy of his own basement, plus private shuttle service to and from the ski base. Easiest ever! And the free snacks and drinks including a very nice whiskey selection were amazing. They are the nicest family who will try to accommodate your every wish. Love this place and would go back any time! Highly recommend. Five stars and more!!!

Featuring a public bath and mist sauna, Phoenix Hotel by Hakuba Hospitality Group is located in Hakuba, a 30.6 km drive from Nagano. Love our room. We chose the share-bath room type by accident, but in the end it didn’t bother us. The public hot bath and shower are very clean, we didn’t see another guest while using it. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast are great, and the restaurant Mimi at the hotel is beyond excellent.

We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) and it was the perfect size, plus handy to have 3 bathrooms for the number of people staying in the apartment. Stephen & his wife were helpful with booking restaurants, giving us advice about Hakuba ski resorts and arranging our luggage transfer to Tokyo. We joined in the pizza night at their Lodge which was really nice and looked to also be a lovely place to stay.

The Bohemians’ Shelter is the best hostel in Hakuba. The facilities are new and clean. Gaspard is an amazing host that will help you to enjoy Hakuba ski resort. Free schedules on morning and evening are really convenient. Breakfast is included and dinner can be can prepared also. The beer on top is also a plus !

We had a great experience and enjoyed the stay very much. The location is great as it's quite close to the bus terminal and convenient store. It just took a short walk to some famous spots. The hotel also sold entrance tickets. The room we had is spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice mountain view. The onsen was great and hot enough. We had different breakfast set everyday and they were all delicious which gave us a good start. The hosts were super helpful and friendly. They updated us the weather and introduced us to the famous spots. They are all best choices. We have missed nothing! We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay in this hotel when we visit Hakuba again. :)

Comfy breakfast and ski in sky out resort, perfect for you to quickly get to the chair lift/gondola without carrying the heavy ski or board gears on the road. Yoshi and his wife are amazing humans, from the homemade breakfast to driving us to the station. Their hospitality is unbeatable. The property felt like we were staying in more of a traditional home. It was extremely clean and well managed. The private onsen was a huge bonus.
