The room is very large compared to other hotels that we stayed in Kyushu. The bathroom was clean and neat. We were given 2 bottles of water every day, which was fantastic compared to other hotels.

Directly connected to JR Kagoshima Chuo Shinkansen (bullet train) Station, JR Kyushu Hotel Kagoshima offers modern guest rooms with free Wi-Fi in 2 separate towers. The hotel is connected to JR station and it's super convenient with few shopping centers in walking distance. The room is very spacious ( compare to traditional hotel in Japan), we still find the room spacious with two big luggage open up in the room. There is washing machine and drying machine where we can wash our clothing from hiking. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they tried to accommodate our special request. There are many local restaurants near the hotel and we feel home when stayed here. Will definitely stay here when I visit again.

Boasting a 13th-floor hot-spring bath overlooking Kagoshima Bay, French and Japanese restaurants and a 24-hour reception, Sun Royal Hotel is 15 minutes from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station on the free... It was my greatest stay during my 4weeks of travel. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of vegan options (they even had a fruit bar). It could be improved by added information which cooked items are vegetarian since fish is not an allergen. The onsen facilities were so great,I wish I could have stayed another night!

HOTEL NOIR Kagoshima Chuo Station is situated in Kagoshima, 4 km from Kagoshima Station and 2.2 km from Terukuni Shrine. I stayed here for a night while waiting for my new apartment to be ready. The location is super close to the station and restaurants, etc. It's very convenient. The staff were so nice!! I felt very welcomed. The room was nice, big bed, big bath. I could even watch Netflix on the TV. Overall I recommend this hotel if you're stopping by Kagoshima city.
