The gable with wood and large window is beautiful.  Furniture in wood in restaurant and rooms provide a warm and elegant ambience. We fell in love with the place and the team who is really the best we had during our trip. They make you feel at home but with luxury hotel services. From the guy who garden to the people who bring your meals to the table: everyone is very caring and you just don't want to leave. No buffet here but a chief who cook for you, and by the way the food is really delicious ( I mean we are French so eat is like a sport for us :) ). Do not hesitate to book because you will regret it, Moksha is really superior to all others! Bohoma istouti !

Old Bridge Riverside Hotel se află în Kitulgala și include o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și facilități de sporturi nautice. A new hotel, runned by a family who is very helpfull. Rooms are good and there is a shared balcony with splendid views, You can walk freely around Bibili Oya, the river next to the hotel . Food is at average level.

The restoration of the century old property was done exceptionally well, from the intricate tile floors, to the custom wood work, and the perfectly mannered gardens, it’s an oasis of beauty.

We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Located right opposite Ma-Oya River, guests at Hotel Elephant Park "Grand Royal Pinnalanda" can watch elephants from their rooms. It has a restaurant and offers room service. How accommodating they were. Arrived at 7am, due to night flying, and they gave us another room to catch up on some well needed sleep until our booked room came available at no extra charge. Thanks.

Located in Pinnawala, Cafe Pinnalanda features an outdoor swimming pool located at a 100 metre distance away. The staff greeted us at our tuk tuk and took care of our bags. Our room was nice and clean. There's a mini bar, for a fee, and a store right below. It's directly across the street from the elephant orphanage. In the morning, around 10:00, you can watch a herd of elephant cross the street. Quite a site

Pinnalanda Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. Surrounded by lush greenery, the hotel is a 1-hour drive from the Kandy. The best elephant bathing view! You can not choose better hotel for elephant watching

Forest Shade Eco Resort se află în Deraniyagala, la 45 km de Leisure World, și oferă o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun și parcare privată gratuită. My partner and I stayed at Forest Shade Eco Resort earlier this month and we had a wonderful experience. We came cycling from Colombo and unfortunately had a small accident on the way. We called the hotel and they arranged a vehicle that picked us up straight from the hospital, everything went super smoothly and it was absolutely sweet how everyone was so concerned about us (we are fine now). This place is definetely the right spot when you need to recover from a bicycle accident or life in gereral. Our room and the attached balcony overlooked the river and we had a fantastic view! The food was lovely as well, we got the Sri Lankan option for dinner and breakfast and loved it. This place is a 100 percent recommendation and we will definetely come again on our bikes to explore the beautiful area a bit more.

White Villa Kitulgala se găsește în Kitulgala și are o grădină, facilități de sporturi nautice și WiFi gratuit. What a seriously magical place! Coming from busy Colombo and finally breathing again in the middle of those giantic green mountains. The little house we were living in was the ideal place to calm down, to relax and to reconnect with the beauty of nature. No pool? No problem! The fresh water stream with crystal clear and cooling water (which is 1min by feet far of the accommodation) is way better than every pool we could have asked for. With little curious fishes inside, that will give you a normally expensive paid treatment. In the area are also waterfalls and plenty of possibility to hike. But come with a scooter or anything, otherwise you will depending on tuk tik, which is neither a problem, as there are always plenty of them waiting to bring you anywhere. But what we really loved the most is the beautiful manager, that became within 2 days like a friend. A young well english speaking and always caring, lady that lives with her family over there. As I was sick when I arrived she prepared even an ayurvedic treatment for me, a hot inhalation with herbs of the property. Another day she joined us for a little exploration and acted as our personal photographer. We had so much fun! And we seriously gonna miss her and her amazing property. Her mom is the cooking chef and performs every breakfast and dinner some magic in the kitchen. They also cared for some special requests and I enjoyed all the food they served us sooooo much!
