We stayed in Lavanya for 10 nights and it was an absolute delight. Amazing hotel - brand new and so so beautiful. Great breakfast with wide selection of asian/european food. Super spacious rooms with beautiful view from the balcony. Incredibly friendly staff - special shout to house keeper Ari - he was so nice and so attentive, always asked us how we are doing and shared such a lovely energy, also security working in the parking lot - so attentive and helpful! 3 minutes from the beach, great pool area, very clean and fresh. 10/10

Featuring a private beach area, tennis court and free WiFi, The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi is located in Pantai Kok, 2.9 km from Oriental Village. It features a fitness centre. I don't often write reviews, but it would be a shame not to share my experience at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi and recommend this fantastic place to everyone. Everything was perfect—impeccable services, attention to detail, well-equipped rooms, friendly staff always ready to assist. The breakfast restaurant set in the jungle with a beautiful terrace offered a diverse menu and a generous buffet with very kind employees. Funny fact: during scrambled eggs and lovely capuccino we were visited by the resident monkeys, that were greeting us every morning and stealing sugar from our table. What a lovely day to start the morning! I highly recommend trying the Beach Grill restaurant, where the chef truly impressed us. Besides the excellently prepared food, he crafted a mango salad based on our preferences and on request he prepared for us a “surprise dinner" that was absolutely extraordinary. The Horizon beach bar offered us a beautiful sunset by a chilled rose wine. The music played by the Dj helped the perfect atmosphere along with the fresh and luxurious food. The Chinese restaurant by the ocean, with its elegant design and impeccable food, added to the overall excellence. I used the spa services twice, with the 120-minute massage rituals, used one hou before the facilities like the sauna and jacuzzi, and I left from there relaxed and speechless. At some point we did a walk in the jungle with a guide provided by the hotel. Of course the hike was beautiful, we’ve reached a private beach with a great view, but more than that, we were impressed with the young guide, vast culture and full of knowledge and also his perfect English. Many thanks to Mia, which offered us a perfect lovely evening and a memory that we cannot forget.

This hotel was the best hotel we stayed at in Langkawi. It was clean, the beds were so comfy, big bathroom. Breakfast was the cherry on top, they have egg station and lots of variety. Very family friendly and right next to the airport. The Smith House should be 5 Star hotel.

Near to pantai chenang just a few walks away. Really recommended. The staff also very kind, when we were staying in car waiting for heavy rain to stop, she approached and gave us umbrella. Very good staff and so kind.
