Really spacious and clean room, nicely furnished. Beds are firm and sleep very well. Walking distance from restaurants and the beach, central. Very convenient and safe to walk to. Undercover parking very convenient too. Good wifi. And very helpful staff that advised and booked restaurants for us, but also helped us to get back the laptop our son had forgotten in his room ;). I absolutely loved the warm welcome and how accommodating the venue is. The rooms are spacious. The location is walking distance from everything. The breakfast is phenomenal and the special touch of dog treats on a plate made our day. We felt welcome and special. We also loved the little bakery and the freshly baked bread.

The uniquely designed Beach Lodge is located in Swakopmund and features a restaurant, bar and BBQ facilities. The hotel has a garden and offers uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. Great beach hotel. It is what it says -- a great little hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pictures are true... our patio door walked right out onto that lovely green lawn and then to the beach. It was great that they offered a family room, it had a nice patio and small fridge and coffee/tea station. It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.

The Strand Hotel felt like an oasis after coming from the desert…extremely welcoming staff everywhere, sumptuous yet cozy interieur, a extremely varied breakfast buffet with endless choices and 3 restaurants incl. outdoor & sea facing terras/bar in house - there was nothing we could ask for on top of that!

Offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and located a short walk from the Jetty and and the National Marine Aquarium, Swakopmund Sands features a lounge and bar area. This hotel is so lovely! The hotel is situated right next to the beach and like 8 min walk from the city center. My room, Superior Royal Ruby, was huge. I heard ocean from my balcony:) The bed was super comfortable. It was cold when I stayed so housekeeping put fluffy extra blanket underneath the usual one and I also got the heater in my room:) Would like to mention also welcome beer for free which waits for you in the fridge when you check in! Helena, the receptionist, helped me a lot to arrange all the excursions, she also found me a transfer the day before I arrived and the transfer from Swakopmund to Sesriem. This one started early morning, she was off duty at that time- and she still guided me in the morning with a taxi pick up to the hotel where transfer started. It was like 7 a.m. in the morning and she was there online through whatsup for me. I was really touched how thoughtful she was
