Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar is located a short walk from the city centre. The train station is nearby, just as the Kaasmarkt, shops and the Stedelijk Museum. The hotel rooms have a bath, TV and minibar. The location was perfect for me. It was close to the railway station and downtown area.

Fletcher Hotel Jan van Scorel is situated at the edge of a dune area with lots of forests. The rooms have box-spring beds and a private bathroom. A varied breakfast buffet is available in the morning.... It was fine for what it was. Grocery store nearby. Paid bicycle lockers were nice and secure.

Zeelui is located in a former shop building from 1941. The building is located on the main street of Egmond aan Zee opposite the beautiful, former rest home for former seamen. Couldn't fault anything. The accommodation, location and hosts we're spot on.

Situated in Castricum, 27 km from Amsterdam, adult-only Zoomers aan het Bos boasts a terrace. The hotel has a sun terrace and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. It felt like a home away from home.
